Product Description
The Tamiya Acrylic XF-9 Flat Hull Red TAM81309 is a high-quality water-soluble acrylic paint that is perfect for brush painting or airbrushing. It can be used on various materials such as styrene resins, Styrofoam, wood, and common model plastics. This paint provides excellent coverage, smooth flow, and easy blending. Before curing, it can be easily washed away with water. For airbrushing, it is recommended to use Tamiya thinners such as 81020, 81030, 81040, 81520, or 87077. The XF-9 color has a flat finish, and it can be thinned using Tamiya X-20A Acrylic thinner or Tamiya Lacquer Thinner for airbrushing. Thinning with Tamiya Lacquer Thinner results in faster drying and a harder finish. For better brush painting results, Tamiya Paint Retarder (87114) can be used to achieve a smoother brushstroke-free finish.
