The Tamiya Acrylic XF-53 Flat Neutral Gray 23ml Tam81353 is a high-quality water-soluble acrylic paint that is perfect for both brush painting and airbrushing. This paint is suitable for use on a variety of materials, including styrene resins, Styrofoam, wood, and common model plastics. It provides excellent coverage, flows smoothly, and can be easily blended. Before curing, the paint can be washed away with plain water. The XF-53 color has a flat finish, making it ideal for achieving a matte look. For airbrushing, the paint can be thinned using Tamiya X-20A Acrylic thinner or Tamiya Lacquer Thinner, which will result in faster drying and a harder finish. To achieve a smoother brushstroke-free finish, Tamiya Paint Retarder can be used.
