The TAMIYA Acrylic X-12 Gloss Gold Leaf is a high-quality 23ml acrylic paint that is perfect for brush painting or airbrushing. This water-soluble paint is made from acrylic resins and can be used on a variety of surfaces including styrene resins, Styrofoam, wood, and common model plastics. The paint provides excellent coverage, smooth flow, and easy blending. It can be thinned for airbrushing using Tamiya X-20A Acrylic thinner or Tamiya Lacquer Thinner. The X-12 color designation indicates a glossy finish, while the paint can be washed away with plain water before curing. For faster drying and a harder finish, Tamiya Lacquer Thinner can be used. To achieve a smoother brushstroke-free finish, Tamiya Paint Retarder is recommended. When airbrushing, the paint is compatible with various Tamiya thinners.
